Year 1918
A record of the Kosovo National Defense Committee provides information on Serbian atrocities in December 1918:
On December 2, 1918, 18 fat cattle were robbed in Voksh. (p. 258)
Imer Bakës, Kamber Elezit, Daut Elezit was robbed with violence, beatings, property in the amount of 23000 crowns. (p. 258)
Ismail Hoxha is tied up, beaten and his 18,000 crowns of property are confiscated in Libozhdë. (p. 258)
Adem Imeri in Lubeniq is tied up, beaten and 20,000 crowns of property are confiscated. (p. 258)
An 80-year-old man and a 12-year-old boy are massacred in Poçest, Peja. (p. 258)
Bajram Rama in Lubozhdë was robbed of 16,000 crowns of property. (p. 258)
Mahmut Alia in Muzhevina, 13000 kroner. (p. 258)
At Tafë Zymeri, men and women rape and receive 6000 kroner in cash and 22000 kroner in goods. (p. 258)
At Ukë Musa they receive 19,000 crowns of goods. (p. 258)
At Murat Bajrami they receive 7000 crowns. (p. 258)
From 17.12.1918 to 31.12.1918 the Serbs looted 346,000 crowns of property and 20,000 head of cattle. (p. 258)
(Gj. D. Note: The world calls the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania, the two most economically backward countries. But does the world and especially Europe know the causes ?!)
"The killings were in the foreground and continuous.
On December 21, 1918, the Serbs killed 4 martyrs, took them out of the Gjakova prison, tore them near the city, imprisoned two boys, Kole Çeta and Lazër Çeta, killed Jonuz Halili of Tomofc in Llukavc, strangled Ali Shabani of Vrella, his body was found in a spoon after ten days ”. (p. 258)
"On December 2, 1918, when protesting at the Paris Peace Conference, it was stated that Montenegrin forces in Podgorica (Podgorica at that time was not the capital of the Montenegrin state, Gj. D.) without excluding either women or children, were severely beaten. the entire Muslim population and committed these barbaric acts:
They killed 11 people with rifles and stabbed them, including their wife Hatixhe Lumahi, wounded Sanije Shaba and Islam Delasi, while they tortured Pashkë Llukachev and set his feet on fire. "They robbed and robbed the clothes and property they found in the houses and in the warehouses of Muslims and Catholics, which were worth 3 million crowns." (p. 259)
"Sources testify: The Serbs, who in 1918 occupied Kosovo for the second time, have committed atrocities against the Albanian people: They have killed and killed 30,000 (thirty thousand) people, burned 168 villages with 4869 houses and a large number of Albanians have forced to flee ”. (p. 271)
In Dibër and in the suburbs of Shkodra, the Serbs burned 7800 houses and killed (thousands) of people and forced more than 4500 people to flee to Tirana or (inside) Shkodra ... (p. 271)
"The government of Belgrade, implementing its plan to kill and exterminate Albanians, has decided to install 7000 emigrant families of Vrangelist Cossacks in Drenica, Peja and Gjakova." (p. 271)

The Serbian army was returning to its homeland through the Thessaloniki Front and it seemed as if it had no other job more important than killing Albanians and looting Albanian property. The Entente stood in defense of Serbia and the work went so far as to sign a secret treaty to dismantle even the few Albanian states that had approved it in 1913. Entente! England, France and Russia! Not that they did not see, but they did not want to see that here, in the Illyrian Peninsula, was going towards the annihilation of a very ancient nation and with not insignificant values for European culture. Did he intend to seek humanism in this so-called new Europe that was being created ?!
Well, if Europe at that time did not think to protect its children and women (Because Albanians are Europeans just like the French, British and Russians.), Why not remind Europe today, 102 years later, of that absence humanism of that time ?!
