TARIOTET/Tariotes nënfis i dalmatëve ILIR !
The Tariotes were a subtribe of the Dalmatae, ancient settlers of a part of the eastern Adriatic coast, in modern-day Croatia.
Tariotët ishin një nënfis i Dalmatëve, kolonët antikë të një pjese të bregdetit lindor të Adriatikut, në Kroacinë e sotme.

Ky fis përmendet në letërsinë Klasike vetëm nga Plini Plaku.
Territori i tyre filloi pasi Scurdona Liburne (Skradin), duke u përhapur në rajonin e vogël direkt në jug të Liburnisë, dhe kufiri kaloi afërsisht në mes të gadishullit që burimet romake e quajtën Hyllus.
Promontori më perëndimore i bregdetit të lashtë Dalmatian shtrihet midis Gjirit të Morinjes (afër Šibenik) në veri-perëndim dhe Gjirit të Kaštela në jug-lindje, të strehuar në vendlindjen e tij nga kodrat. [6]
Fusha të shumta kodrash dhe tuma të tyre u gjetën në Gadishullin Hyllus, dhe shumica e saj u vendosën më intensivisht nga fundi i dytë deri në mesin e mijëvjeçarit të parë para Krishtit, ndërsa dëshmitë tregojnë për zgjidhjen e gadishullit gjatë Epokës së Bronzit të Vonë dhe epoka më e vjetër e hekurit.
Nga veriu në jug të gadishullit vendbanime të forta të fortifikuara (moderne: Grad, Domazeti, Kosmač, Drid dhe Oriovščak) mbizotërojnë mbi një gjatësi të shkurtër, të rrethuar me një seri majesh kodrash më të vogla të vendosura në lartësi më të spikatura, të fortifikuara me gurë të thatë etj. të gjitha të lidhura vizualisht.
Ata u ngritën në lidhje me komunikimet tokësore dhe detare, të cilat ata plotësisht kontrolluan, dhe ata mundësuan kontroll mbi kullotat individuale, ashtu si vepruan në kodrat fqinje Liburniët.
The Tariotes were a subtribe of the Dalmatae,[1][2][3] ancient settlers of a part of the eastern Adriatic coast, in modern-day Croatia. This tribe is mentioned in the Classical literature by Pliny the Elder alone.
Their territory began after Liburnian Scardona (Skradin), spreading in small region directly to the south of Liburnia, and border ran roughly through the middle of the peninsula which Roman sources called Hyllus. This westernmost promontory of the ancient Dalmatian coast lies between Morinje Bay (near Šibenik) in the north-west and Kaštela Bay in the south-east, sheltered in its hinterland by the hills.[6]
Numerous hillforts and their tumuli were found in the Hyllus Peninsula, and most of it were more intensely settled from the end of the second to the middle of the first millennium BC, while evidences point to the settlement of the peninsula during the Late Bronze Age and the older Iron Age.[7] From north to the south of the peninsula large fortified settlements (modern: Grad, Domazeti, Kosmač, Drid and Oriovščak) dominate over a short length, surrounded with a series of smaller hillforts located on more prominent elevations, fortified with dry-stone ramparts, all visually connected. They were raised in relation to overland and maritime communications, which they entirely controlled, and they enabled control over individual pastures, same as the neighboring Liburnian hillforts did.
