"Bundles of Albanian corpses hearth by hearth, dilapidated houses, frozen mothers with babies in the breast, hungry and defenseless children, hunger and poverty from fires and looting, sad scenes had covered the whole of Albanian Morava and Anamorava in the regions of Nis, Pirot, Vranje, Leskovac, Prokuplje, Kursumlija. ” (p. 45)
"The Albanian population was forcibly displaced to the depths of the Ottoman Empire (Indeed, to the depths of Albania. Gj. D.) Thus the possibility of returning to their lands was avoided ... Serbian announcements said: Until March 22, 1879, in the regions of Nis, Pirot, Vranje and Toplica, only 6,567 Muslims remain. (This is how Serbian propaganda called the Albanians this time. Other times he called them Catholics and killed them. He also called them Enverists and imprisoned and killed them. Gj. D.) "(p. 45)
"In the name of their just cause, only from June 21 to July 11, 1878, the Albanians sent 145 petitions to the Great Powers, signed by representatives of the endangered provinces: Ioannina, Bitola, Skopje, Bar, Nis, Prokuple, Kurshumli, Dibër, Prishtina, New Market, Podgorica, Shpuza, Grudë, Hot, etc. ” (Krs. P. 47)

There were 145 petitions, which were not considered! Should we not remind Europe today of this indignant fact ?! This truth that humiliates Europe and calls on it not to be humiliated ?!
When Nis, Pirot, Vranja, Toplica, were part of Albania in the 19th century, is there any logic that today is required to give North Mitrovica to Serbia ?! Of course there is logic. It is the logic of further narrowing of Albanian lands. Is there any logic for the thesis of all kinds of Serbian communities on Albanian soil to be put on the negotiating table ?! Of course there is logic. It is the logic of robberies: Take the Albanians, because they say nothing to you! Get in Peja, get in Deçan, get in Prizren! Take what you can here, in Himara, Gjirokastra, Korca! A nation of cowards! A nation of the poor!
But should we still allow ourselves such humiliation !? The Albanian nation must no longer allow, in relations and talks with foreigners, whoever they are, friends or not friends, to be represented by unworthy people!
We have many good and inspiring examples, from the envoys of Gjergj Kastriot Skanderbeg in Rome and Venice, from Abdyl Farashëri in Berlin, Hasan Prishtina in Istanbul, Ismail Qemali in Istanbul and in Europe, Isa Boletini in London, Enver Hoxha in Paris, Reis Malile, Abdi Baleta, Halim Budo, at the UN and, to some extent, we can say about some of those who represented us in Rambouillet.
Let our representatives today learn from our forefathers, or leave the place to others! Which means: We Albanians must have the power to remove, repeal, unworthy representatives and replace them with representatives who protect the interests of this nation, even with life.
